leon kennedy is the protagonist of resident evil 2 and 4, along with a few other resident evil properties. he is a police officer turned government agent after he experiences the zombie apocalypse in raccoon city. although he arrived to the police station a starry eyed 21 year old, he quickly became jaded and depressed because of the actions the government took against him as well as made him take against others. his motivations always lie with helping others as much as possible, but it's not often he's able to succeed, causing him to lose hope in all life itself. but he keeps fighting to save people and (maybe) eventually fufill his survivor's guilt.
